This home is a dialogue between tradition and modernity, where architectural heritage meets contemporary innovation. Rooted in the rich history of its surroundings, the design’s form respects the essence of traditional architecture while seamlessly integrating modern technology to enhance everyday living.
At its heart lies the central courtyard—an element deeply ingrained in traditional homes—reimagined as a greenhouse to bring nature into the core of urban life. This fusion creates a serene, garden-like sanctuary functionality, balancing a sense of warmth and belonging with the vibrant energy of the city.
Structurally, the use of steel and concrete allows for greater architectural freedom, enabling fluid spaces unconfined by the limitations of traditional wood construction. Beyond aesthetics, this choice also enhances safety, particularly in terms of fire resistance, ensuring both beauty and resilience.
The material palette—white, cream, and copper—draws inspiration from the natural interplay of light and contrast. White and cream bring softness and brightness, while copper adds warmth and depth. As night falls, the home transforms through carefully curated lighting, which interacts with stone, water, copper, and fire, creating a dynamic interplay of textures and reflections. These elements—fire for warmth, water for fluidity, and stone for grounding—are inspired by the essence of life itself, thoughtfully woven into the design to elevate both space and experience.
